Hello, new semester! (read: good-bye, LIFE!)

Back to school means back to the worship of DALism for most of our devotees of architorture. Rumor has it that those who did not manage to flee to the European Union have already reclaimed their old thrones and their shiny new Macs for another semester of sleep-deprived panic attacks, architecture-related puns, and naps in uncomfortable positions. But crossing the Atlantic doesn’t mean you’re out of the game just yet; while Wen has her iPhone on the ready in New York, Adrienne will be reporting from Copenhagen on the status of those who are braving the Danish studios. And as for our other international correspondent? Well, she’ll be busy embracing (read: abusing) Madrid’s siesta culture because mandatory nap time wins first prize for best concept ever, and we all know how much the architects-to-be of b+c love concepts.

So, on your mark, get set, DESIGN! Here’s hoping your .5 line weight racetrack to the crit deadline isn’t bumpy.
